What holiday gifts did you actually appreciate?

I have a bunch of outdoors-folks to buy gifts for this christmas. Hikers, climbers, campers, hunters and fisherfolk.

I am really picky about my gear and would rather get gift cards, but that won't fly for personal reasons this time.

So what did you get/give that you/they were actually happy to have?

Races/events

What outdoor adventure events have you done? Looking for something fun to sign up for (alone or with friends). Doesn’t have to be a race. Could be a challenge. Done Spartans and trail running.

Fall Classic: Patagonia’s Synchilla Snap-T Is on Sale https://ift.tt/2zgHY4k

It’s hard not to click ‘purchase’ when anything Patagonia goes on sale. And the Synchilla Snap-T pullover is an absolute classic for cooler seasons like fall.

Even if you already own one of these fleece fuzzies, there’s always room for another. Personally, I hold back a well-loved, ember-seared Patagonia Synchilla for chilly mornings at camp, where a coffee spill is inevitable. I keep another nicer Patagonia pullover on hand to sport around town — and even snuggle up to the bar.

Patagonia Synchilla

Either way, the Synchilla Snap-T is one decent deal for a go-to multiseason layer at about 35 percent off retail. Better yet, it’s on sale for men ($90) and women ($78), so anyone can score a Synchilla that fits well.

But according to mountainsteals.com, there are only five days left to get one. Good luck.
