First time ever shooting a slingshot

Never used one before so please give any advice!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nyOCUgdMAQ

Started off shooting the 8mm BBs the slingshot came with and then also tried some 18mm lead shot I cast myself using scrap lead I dig up metal detecting. The 18mm shot was obviously much slower but still bent the target in half.

I noticed I got better accuracy when I paid attention to my posture. Any tips on using the aiming sights? I don't think I did too well considering I was only 20ft away from a pretty big target!
