How to prep for high elevation hiking

Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone had advice about what to do to prep for high elevation hiking. I live in southern MN and will be going on a road trip to do hiking in Grand Teton NP, Glacier NP, Yosemite NP, and Rocky Mountain NP this upcoming fall. I don't know if just getting in better shape will be enough for me to be able to hike in these parks without too much trouble. I am not going to be planning strenuous hikes back to back, so I should have recovery time in between. Any ideas, suggestions, or comments would be appreciated! Thanks!
